Sep 21, 2023

In order to ensure the safety of mine production and protect the lives of miners, mining equipment radio communication systems need to use explosion-proof power supplies, and mining explosion-proof lithium-ion battery power supplies have become indispensable equipment.

Battery pack selection requirements
1. The battery pack must adopt an explosion-proof structure and obtain the corresponding market access certificate;
2. The battery cells of the battery pack must use high-performance and environmentally friendly materials, such as polymer lithium-ion batteries;
3. The maximum discharge current of the battery cell should meet the electrical load requirements of the equipment. At the same time, the Soc of the battery cell should not exceed 80% to prevent slow charging at low temperatures.

Explosion-proof technical requirements
1. The electronic control circuit in the battery pack must take multiple protection measures such as overvoltage, overcurrent, and overtemperature to ensure the safety of the battery pack;
2. The battery pack shell must be made of appropriate materials to ensure that the battery can withstand the influence of external forces during use and to effectively prevent gases, liquids and other substances inside the battery pack from causing an explosion due to out of control;
3. The components of the battery pack must undergo explosion-proof performance testing, be tested in strict accordance with relevant standards, and obtain corresponding explosion-proof certificates.

Charging technical requirements
1. The charging current of a battery cell should not be higher than 0.5 times the capacity of the battery cell, and a charger with multiple protection measures such as overcurrent, overvoltage, and overtemperature must be used for charging;
2. During the charging process, the temperature of the battery pack must be controlled to prevent the heat generated during the charging process from affecting the safety of the battery pack.

Discharge technical requirements
1. The electronic control circuit in the battery pack must have multiple protection measures such as overvoltage, overcurrent, and overtemperature to ensure safety during the discharge process;
2. During the discharge process, the Soc of the battery cell cannot exceed 80% to ensure the life and safety of the battery;
3. After the discharge is completed, the discharge device should be closed in a timely manner and relevant operating procedures should be followed.

Sensor technical requirements
1. The battery pack must be equipped with various sensors such as temperature, voltage, and current to monitor the status of the battery pack in real time;
2. Monitoring data should be transmitted to the control platform through effective data transmission means to facilitate real-time monitoring and rapid response to abnormal situations.

Environmental adaptability requirements
1. The battery pack must be able to adapt to harsh working environments, such as high temperature, high humidity, high altitude, etc.;
2. The battery pack must be dustproof, waterproof, and earthquake-resistant to ensure reliability in response to emergencies;
3. The battery pack must have anti-corrosion and anti-corrosion functions to ensure long-term use in chemically corrosive environments.
