How to prevent the explosion of lithium battery packs for forklifts

1. External short circuit: refers to the outside of the battery, including the short circuit caused by a series of factors such as poor internal insulation design of the forklift lithium battery pack, which may also be improper operation, which will also lead to the occurrence of this situation. If a short circuit occurs outside the battery cell, and the electronic components do not block the circuit, the discharge of the battery at this time will cause the battery temperature to rise, and the excessive temperature will make the separator inside the cell harmful or directly damaged, thus leading to the internal short and causing the explosion we are afraid of!
2. Internal short circuit: Once the internal short circuit occurs, it will make the forklift lithium battery pack cell current a lot of discharge, a lot of heat energy, so that the internal formation of a lot of gas, which will lead to excessive pressure inside, and when this pressure reaches the cell shell can not withstand the explosion!

3. Overcharge: When the battery cell is overcharged, it may make the lithium of the positive electrode excessively discharged, which will lead to changes in the battery structure, and the lithium of the negative electrode does not pierce into the negative electrode will also lead to surface lithium precipitation, and when the voltage reaches more than 4.5V, the electrolyte will differentiate and produce a lot of gas. Overcharging may lead to leakage, deformation, fire and other risk conditions, and severe cases will cause explosion!
